::Baby G Take 2:: Week 21

How far along? 21 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 7 lbs.  I go to the doctor on Monday so we will see if there is any further weight gain

Maternity clothes? Yes! With the slightly cooler temps I've really been craving some new fall outfits but since that's totally irrational and out of the budget, I think I might look for some new scarves and accessories instead.

Stretch marks? Not yet!

Symptoms: Heartburn like the heat from 1,000 fiery suns, slight back aches, overall shorter patience.

Sleep: Sleep has been a little messy this week. Henley has been transitioning to a new room at school and her sleep has been wonky, therefore messing with my sleep. Also the Snoogle just isn't that comfy this time around. I'm not sure if getting up and down with Henley is affecting it or what, hoping that changes soon---I loved that pillow last time.

Best moment this week: The starting of the nursery. We began cleaning out the guest room and getting rid of things we no longer need. Ted also felt the baby from the outside which was great!

Have you told family and friends: Yes everyone knows.

Miss anything: Nothing really this week

Movement: Yes! I love it----hands down the best part of being pregnant.

Food cravings: Cookies, in many different forms but most specifically these homemade whoopie pies I make. mmmm

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing specific.

Have you started to show yet: Yes

Gender: GIRL! Macie Paige

Labor Signs: None.

Belly Button in or out? In but barely :-(

Wedding Rings On or Off? On

Happy or Moody: Mostly happy with a few moment of tired and cranky.

Looking forward to:  Painting the nursery and Halloween with Henley. I'll be sure to post pictures of Henley in her costume!

::Henley:: Sesame Street Live

Third post in a week--shocker right!!

Henley has recently been loving Elmo so when I heard Sesame Street Live was coming to town, I knew we had to get tickets. We had pretty close seats and Henley loved it. She was a little frustrated when she realized she herself would not be joining Elmo on stage but she stood there watching the show for a good 20-30 minutes. We clapped a little and swayed back and forth....after that though, all bets were off. The first half was 45 minutes and then there was an intermission. We left at intermission as we knew she wouldn't care and it was only 30 minutes or so before bed time. Here are some pictures from the night.

Overall I think she did great, especially for a 22 month old. The entire crowd was full of toddlers so no reason to worry about moving too much or making noise. Such fun!

::Henley:: Pumpkin Patch

Fall in Florida isn't really like fall elsewhere around the country. There are no cool night breezes or leaves falling to the ground but there are pumpkin patches (albeit "man made" ones that are set up on busy street corners or parks but pumpkin patches nonetheless). Last weekend we took Henley to a pumpkin patch and snapped a few shots. She has been totally obsessed with pumpkins lately. She loved walking around and even picked out a small pumpkin of her own! We had just been the doctor for Henley's flu shot so this was a nice pick me up.

This weekend we went to a local park that was having a festival. There was a pumpkin patch and a train ride. Henley loved it all, she even saw a friend from school while she was there. Grandma and Aunt Allie joined us too.

 Look at that face---obsessed with "pumpas" I tell ya!

Happy Fall Y'all----now if only the cool weather would head this way!!!

::Baby G Take 2:: Week 20

How far along? 20 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 7 lbs.

Maternity clothes? Yes!

Stretch marks? Not yet!

Symptoms: Heartburn but Zantac has worked so well! A few back aches

Sleep: So good (knock on wood!!) although I did have one night where I was wide awake for 3 hours. It kills me that Henley was sound asleep and I was wide awake.

Best moment this week: So many great moments---seeing the baby on the ultrasound for the anatomy scan, determining that yes for sure it's a girl, feeling her move like crazy and hubs feeling her move too!

Have you told family and friends: Yes everyone knows.

Miss anything? Nothing really this week

Movement: Yes! Finally felt her early last week and hubs felt her a few days ago. It's been pretty strong the last few days. I love it!

Food cravings: Not really anything specific, just bouts of "really want something sweet"

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing specific.

Have you started to show yet: Yes

Gender: GIRL!

Labor Signs: None.

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding Rings On or Off? On

Happy or Moody: Happy!!!

Looking forward to:  The nursery! I have most of it planned in my head and we are going to start cleaning out the guest room this weekend.

...and just for good measure because she's so freaking cute--

::Baby G Take 2:: Week 19

How far along? 19 weeks. We missed Week 18--last weekend we had 2 birthday parties and some awesome weather that distracted us a bit. It really is funny how already having a child changes things. With Henley's pictures I didn't miss a day or take it late at all. I think over half of these pictures have been before or after my actually "week".

Total weight gain/loss: 6 lbs. Right on track with where I was with Hens. Dr. did warn for me to be careful around the holidays though---boo doc! Way to be a party pooper!

Maternity clothes? Yes!

Stretch marks? Not yet!

Symptoms: Heartburn, heartburn, heartburn.

Sleep: Better and better every day. I have a feeling Henley will start sleeping awesome the minute I enter the pregnancy insomnia stage.

Best moment this week: Moving Henley to a toddler bed which means the crib is in the guest room nursery!

Have you told family and friends: Yes everyone knows.

Miss anything? Champagne. Ted and I went to an awards dinner for his industry last night and they gave complimentary glasses of champagne at the door. I really wanted some and hubs saying it was too sweet for him meant it would have been my perfect cup of tea.

Movement: I think, just maybe, I felt the baby yesterday. I'm hoping this week will be it for sure!

Food cravings: Chicken salad again, that seems to be my craving staple this go round.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing specific.

Have you started to show yet: Yes

Gender: Anatomy scan on Wednesday!

Labor Signs: None.

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding Rings On or Off? On

Happy or Moody: Happy overall, just a few bouts of crank-ass ;-)

Looking forward to: Feeling the baby, anatomy scan, and taking Henley to see Sesame Street Live on Wednesday.
