::Baby G Take 2:: Week 25

How far along? 25 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 12 lbs. last check a few weeks ago. I'll find out for sure next week.

Stretch marks? Not yet, fingers are still crossed

Symptoms: Mainly the heartburn. I had some crazy back pain on Saturday but I was also on my feet cooking for about 4 hours and cleaning before that for our Friendsgiving (which was amazing!!)

Sleep: Sleeping pretty well. The Snoogle hasn't really been that comfortable this go round which is interesting since I loved it before. Some nights I am waking 2-3 times to pee and some nights I am sleeping straight though.

Best moment this week: I'll do the last two weeks since I skipped last week. We went to Busch Gardens with Henley and she was so fun. She loved Elmo and was actually star struck. It was the best. Macie also is moving SO much these days and even kicks Henley when she lays on my stomach. Love it.

Have you told family and friends: Yes everyone knows.

Miss anything: Starting to miss being comfortable in certain clothes. A few days this week I just could not wait to be naked and out of tight clothing!

Movement: So much!

Food cravings: Craved the guacamole from Cantina Laredo---they make it tableside. I still haven't managed to get my hands on any just yet.

Anything making you queasy or sick: No

Have you started to show yet: Oh yes for sure

Gender: GIRL! Macie Paige

Labor Signs: None thank God

Belly Button in or out? SO far out. I don't remember popping this much with Henley

Wedding Rings On or Off? On

Happy or Moody: Happy but I did have a few cranky days here and there.

Looking forward to: Getting really started on the nursery. While we were in Tampa for Busch Gardens, we hit up Ikea to get things for the girls room. Ted is planning to start painting this week or this weekend sometime. We have new things for Henley's room and we have some things to move into Macie's room once painted. Cannot wait.  Non-baby related: I can't wait for Thanksgiving. While our Friendsgiving was so fun, we didn't have my mom's dressing or cranberry sauce and those two with turkey is my favorite all-in-one-bite combination....mmmmm!

Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving!!!!

::Baby G Take 2:: Week 23

How far along? 23 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 12 lbs. last week, haven't weighed myself since

Stretch marks? Not yet and getting better about using my Mama Mio Belly Butter

Symptoms: Again the heartburn is an every meal occurrence. I have some muscle pain in my lower abdomen that is just a dull ache that I don't remember from Henley. Other than that, just a back ache here and some exhaustion there.

Sleep: Sleeping great, especially Saturday night in the hotel with hubs for our date night.

Best moment this week: Macie moving so much I can see her jump on the outside. Also date night with hubs was great. We went to a nice dinner (see craving) and went to the movies to see Gone Girl. We then stayed at an awesome hotel for the night. It was our first night away from Henley and it went surprisingly well! She kept telling my mom we were at work. So glad to see when we are in the hospital with Macie, she won't be traumatized.

Have you told family and friends: Yes everyone knows.

Miss anything: Nothing really that I can remember

Movement: Yes kicking so much. I love it. She seems to be most active when I lay down in bed.

Food cravings: When Ted and I were planning our date night, all I could think about was a yummy steak. We went to a restaurant called Chops and had a really great filet with bernaise sauce---definitely satisfied the craving.

Anything making you queasy or sick: No.

Have you started to show yet: Yes (see pic above)

Gender: GIRL! Macie Paige

Labor Signs: None.

Belly Button in or out? It's out and people at work are commenting on it so it's out and visible to the world.

Wedding Rings On or Off? On

Happy or Moody: Happy!

Looking forward to: This weekend we are going to Busch Garden with my mom and Henley. I'm so excited to see her reaction to all of the animals and the Sesame Street area. I think she will love it.

We are also planning an Ikea trip while we are up there to get some things for Henley and Macie. Hopefully once we get these we can really get moving on the nursery.

Hope you have a great week!!

::Baby G Take 2:: Week 22

(no pic this week---working late and DST)

How far along? 22 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 12 lbs. Went to the doctor this morning and at first the number on the scale totally scared me but then I checked back to 22 weeks with Hens and I was up 11 so not terrible. Doc gave me the Thanksgiving lecture again ;-)
Maternity clothes? Yes! I love all things maternity pants

Stretch marks? Not yet Yay!!

Symptoms: Heartburn is terrible! I forgot how terrible it truly is! Slight back pain here and there, especially if I stand for a long period of time. I've been dizzy here and there if I stand up too fast too which I also had with Henley. Pretty much the same exact symptoms as Henley.
Sleep: Sleep is better this week. Henley's been doing much better with a night here or there waking up but overall I think we are on the up and up.

Best moment this week: Feeling Macie move SO much. Saturday night she was a little ninja, kicking so much!

Have you told family and friends: Yes everyone knows.

Miss anything: Nothing really that I can remember

Movement: Yes she has been so active lately. Today at the doctor while he was listening to my heartbeat she was kicking and we could hear it. I love it so much!

Food cravings: Cookies, still cookies

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing specific.

Have you started to show yet: Uh most definitely

Gender: GIRL! Macie Paige

Labor Signs: None.

Belly Button in or out? It's pretty much out :-(  Showing through shirts in all it's glory. Ack!

Wedding Rings On or Off? On

Happy or Moody: Mostly happy especially with feeling Macie and a fun Halloween with Henley!

Looking forward to: Anniversary night with hubs. We are going to a local hotel for one night this weekend. It will be the first time I am away from Henley over night. I am a little nervous but know she will be fine. I'm most nervous for when she wakes up and we aren't there :-(

::Baby G Take 2:: Week 21

How far along? 21 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 7 lbs.  I go to the doctor on Monday so we will see if there is any further weight gain

Maternity clothes? Yes! With the slightly cooler temps I've really been craving some new fall outfits but since that's totally irrational and out of the budget, I think I might look for some new scarves and accessories instead.

Stretch marks? Not yet!

Symptoms: Heartburn like the heat from 1,000 fiery suns, slight back aches, overall shorter patience.

Sleep: Sleep has been a little messy this week. Henley has been transitioning to a new room at school and her sleep has been wonky, therefore messing with my sleep. Also the Snoogle just isn't that comfy this time around. I'm not sure if getting up and down with Henley is affecting it or what, hoping that changes soon---I loved that pillow last time.

Best moment this week: The starting of the nursery. We began cleaning out the guest room and getting rid of things we no longer need. Ted also felt the baby from the outside which was great!

Have you told family and friends: Yes everyone knows.

Miss anything: Nothing really this week

Movement: Yes! I love it----hands down the best part of being pregnant.

Food cravings: Cookies, in many different forms but most specifically these homemade whoopie pies I make. mmmm

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing specific.

Have you started to show yet: Yes

Gender: GIRL! Macie Paige

Labor Signs: None.

Belly Button in or out? In but barely :-(

Wedding Rings On or Off? On

Happy or Moody: Mostly happy with a few moment of tired and cranky.

Looking forward to:  Painting the nursery and Halloween with Henley. I'll be sure to post pictures of Henley in her costume!

::Henley:: Sesame Street Live

Third post in a week--shocker right!!

Henley has recently been loving Elmo so when I heard Sesame Street Live was coming to town, I knew we had to get tickets. We had pretty close seats and Henley loved it. She was a little frustrated when she realized she herself would not be joining Elmo on stage but she stood there watching the show for a good 20-30 minutes. We clapped a little and swayed back and forth....after that though, all bets were off. The first half was 45 minutes and then there was an intermission. We left at intermission as we knew she wouldn't care and it was only 30 minutes or so before bed time. Here are some pictures from the night.

Overall I think she did great, especially for a 22 month old. The entire crowd was full of toddlers so no reason to worry about moving too much or making noise. Such fun!

::Henley:: Pumpkin Patch

Fall in Florida isn't really like fall elsewhere around the country. There are no cool night breezes or leaves falling to the ground but there are pumpkin patches (albeit "man made" ones that are set up on busy street corners or parks but pumpkin patches nonetheless). Last weekend we took Henley to a pumpkin patch and snapped a few shots. She has been totally obsessed with pumpkins lately. She loved walking around and even picked out a small pumpkin of her own! We had just been the doctor for Henley's flu shot so this was a nice pick me up.

This weekend we went to a local park that was having a festival. There was a pumpkin patch and a train ride. Henley loved it all, she even saw a friend from school while she was there. Grandma and Aunt Allie joined us too.

 Look at that face---obsessed with "pumpas" I tell ya!

Happy Fall Y'all----now if only the cool weather would head this way!!!

How far along? 20 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 7 lbs.

Maternity clothes? Yes!

Stretch marks? Not yet!

Symptoms: Heartburn but Zantac has worked so well! A few back aches

Sleep: So good (knock on wood!!) although I did have one night where I was wide awake for 3 hours. It kills me that Henley was sound asleep and I was wide awake.

Best moment this week: So many great moments---seeing the baby on the ultrasound for the anatomy scan, determining that yes for sure it's a girl, feeling her move like crazy and hubs feeling her move too!

Have you told family and friends: Yes everyone knows.

Miss anything? Nothing really this week

Movement: Yes! Finally felt her early last week and hubs felt her a few days ago. It's been pretty strong the last few days. I love it!

Food cravings: Not really anything specific, just bouts of "really want something sweet"

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing specific.

Have you started to show yet: Yes

Gender: GIRL!

Labor Signs: None.

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding Rings On or Off? On
